St. Edward rains 3-pointers en route to win over East Jackson

Thomas Schmock had 33 points, Sean Flannery added 19 and St. Edward (Ohio) set a Beach Ball Classic record with 19 3-pointers en route to a 93-71 win over East Jackson (Ga.) in a consolation game at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.

St. Edward also outrebounded East Jackson 52-35. St. Edward will next play Mustang (Okla.) at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday with a trip to the consolation championship on the line.

Drue Drinnon had a team-high 28 for East Jackson, which will next play Myrtle Beach at noon Thursday.
