Scoring machine: Bartow (Fla.) senior Tony Bradley put up the highest point and rebound total of the day, scoring 29 and grabbing 18 boards in an a first round win over East Jackson (Ga.).

Highlight reel: Bartow 6-10 senior Tony Bradley is an inside force, but he showed additional skills against East Jackson. The North Carolina signee grabbed a defensive rebound, went behind his back in traffic at midcourt while dribbling nearly the length of the floor and made a smooth dish over a defender for an assisted lay in.

Number crunching: The St. John’s College Prep (D.C.) Cadets managed to outscore Mustang (Okla.) 32-20 in points inside the paint and lost the rebound battle by just five (39-35) despite a lack of size, which the Broncos have plenty of.

Game of the Day: St. John’s and Mustang went down to the wire, but the play of seniors Anthony Cowan Jr. (Maryland signee) and Jeffrey Dowtin Jr. (Rhode Island committment) helped lead the Cadets to a win over the Broncos. Cowan Jr. had a game-high 23 points, and Dowtin Jr. had 21.

On the Horizon: Three of the tournament’s four quarterfinal matchups are Tuesday beginning at 5:15 p.m., with a highlight matchup being three-time defending national champion Montverde (Fla.) vs. two-time defending Georgia Class A state champion St. Francis.
