▪ St. James 8, (at) Darlington 3| Down to its final three outs, the Sharks manufactured seven runs in the seventh inning to stay alive in the District V tournament. St. James will travel to Midland Valley on Friday, needing to win two games to advance to the Lower State tournament.

Girls soccer

▪ (At) Socastee 7, Irmo 1 | An early flurry by the Braves allowed them to cruise in their second playoff matchup with Irmo. In the eighth minute, Josh Mackie found Nick Koonce in the front of the goal, with Koonce finishing by putting the ball in the back of the net. Koonce would be joined on the scoresheet by five other Socastee players, helping it move on to the Lower State semifinals against Bluffton. Kick off is at 6 p.m.
