▪ Ashley Ridge 2, (at) Carolina Forest 1 | The Panthers’ season met a heartbreaking end on Monday, an Ashley Ridge goal in extra time pushing it in the second round of the playoffs. Amber Rutledge had Carolina Forest’s lone goal in the game.

GOLF

▪  At Little River’s Eagles Nest Golf Course, the tandem of Jake Dupuis and Matthew Griego led North Myrtle Beach to the Region VII-AAA championship, winning by 11 strokes. Dupuis earned medalist honors, besting Griego by a shot. The Chiefs now move on to the Lower State tournament on Hilton Head Island, hoping to advance to the state championship, which will be played on a familiar course – the Hackler Golf Course at Coastal Carolina University.

▪ (At) Beaufort 4, Myrtle Beach 3 | Despite fighting back to tie things in the top half of the sixth, Beaufort pulled ahead in the bottom of the frame, moving on to the district final round.
