Loris 212, Marion 222: Lukas Little of Loris was medalist with a 9-over-par 45 on the back nine at Diamondback Golf Club at Woodland Valley.

Softball

Myrtle Beach 9, Socastee 7: Morgan Compton drove in two runs with a double in the top of the seventh inning to put Myrtle Beach ahead in a non-region win. Abby Dugan hit a three-run home run for Socastee.

Both teams begin the playoffs this week in their respective classes.

Conway 2, Carolina Forest 0: Taylor Richardson hit a solo home run to open the scoring in the bottom of the fourth and Chelsea Mitchell plated Ashley Rowell with an RBI double later in the inning. Mitchell allowed just three hits on the mound.

Conway (9-7 overall, 6-4 in Region VI-AAAA) travels to Summerville at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the first round of the Class AAAA playoffs. Carolina Forest failed to make the playoffs.

Girls soccer

Socastee 2, St. James 1, PK: Socastee outscored St. James 6-5 in overtime penalty kicks, as goaltender Mackenzie Runyon made two saves in the PK session and Jamie Udet scored the game-winning goal in the non-region contest.

Haley Altman of Socastee scored in regulation with an assist from Brittany Leftis. The Braves (7-7 overall, 6-4 in Region VI-AAAA) will play Bluffton next Monday in the first round of the Class AAAA playoffs.
