▪ Aynor 7, Waccamaw 1 | The Blue Jackets ensured the Region VIII-AA title would be decided in a playoff Thursday, taking down Waccamaw. Aynor churned out 11 hits, led by Jessie Johnson, who was 3 for 4 with a two runs batted in, along with Morgan and Brooke Elliott, each of whom had two hits on the night.
The Blue Jackets will now take on Dillon for the league title. Aynor had an opportunity to win the Region VIII-AA title outright Tuesday night, but the Wildcats came away with a 7-3 victory.
