Update: More teams punch ticket for baseball, softball playoffs

A hectic Friday night’s worth of games increased the total number of area baseball and softball teams who are playoff bound to 11. Loris baseball then bumped that figure by one on Saturday with a win over Mullins.

Conway, Georgetown and St. James softball punched their tickets with Friday wins. Myrtle Beach and Socastee softball can join the party as early as Tuesday.
