▪ Shooting its best round of golf this season, North Myrtle Beach was able to defeat county-foe Carolina Forest by 10 strokes Wednesday at Eagles Nest Golf Course. Senior Jake Dupuis picked up medalist honors, shooting a 1-under par 35.

▪ Though youngest on the links, seventh grader Braeden Barnett stood tallest at Diamondback Golf Club on Wednesday, shooting an 43 to help his Aynor team tie Conway with an overall score of 199.Connor Thomas led Conway with a 47, while Loris –which scored an overall 223 –was led by Luqas Little.

▪ Wins in the 400-meter dash and pole vault by Jackson Junkins helped the Waccamaw boys to victory at a five-team meet Wednesday night at St. James. As for the girls, North Myrtle Beach was able to come out on top after wins in six events.
