Seven local teams still standing as playoffs roll along

With the first round of the South Carolina High School League basketball playoffs completed, seven of the fifteen local teams are playing.

The latest to move on, Carolina Forest, did so Wednesday with a 10-point win over Bluffton. On Thursday, the Myrtle Beach and Carvers Bay girls will attempt to advance for a second time in Class AAA and Class A, respectively.

That will lead into Friday and Saturday, where those remaining teams will be on the road.

All games at 7 p.m. unless otherwise noted
