Area high school basketball playoff schedule (Feb. 15, 2016)

With day one of the South Carolina basketball playoffs in the books, its time for eight more teams to take the court.

Area boys teams North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, St. James, Carvers Bay and Green Sea Floyds will be joined by girls programs Socastee, Conway and Waccamaw. The Carolina Forest and Waccamaw boys still have one more day to wait before tipping off their respective playoff games Wednesday.

Two of the five local girls teams that played Monday advanced to the second round, with Myrtle Beach defeating Lakewood and Carvers Bay beating Scott’s Branch. Those two will play Thursday, as the Seahawks play host to Stall while the Bears head to Estill.
