North Myrtle Beach wrestling takes down Georgetown
The North Myrtle Beach wrestling team took down a shorthanded Georgetown Bulldogs squad, 63-6, in a dual meet Wednesday night.
The Chiefs, led by coach Amos Collins, had two pins by Deandre Carolina (145 pounds) and Curtis Wolfe (182) and won nine forfeits. North Myrtle Beach’s Rahsaan Vereen (152) also picked up a win via decision over the Bulldogs’ Fred Taylor.
Ming Jones (138) and Justin Green (170) had the only victories of the night for Georgetown with each winning by decision.
