High school girls golf

▪ (At) Carolina Forest 167, Socastee 207 | The Panthers improved to 2-0 with a win over the Braves at Myrtle Beach National.

Carolina Forest was led by senior Jamie Karl (40), Sami Spencer (40), Sydney Abruzzino (42), and Jackie Brown (45).

▪ (At) Conway 184, Loris 228 | Kendall Lewis earned medalist honors as she shot a 38 to lead the Tigers to a win over the Lions at Shaftesbury Glen. Conway improved to 2-2.

The teams played only eight holes due to darkness.

▪ St. James 168, (at) Aynor 183 | Led by Steely Hars, the Sharks remained undefeated while handing the Blue Jackets their first loss of the season.

High school volleyball

▪ St. James 3, (at) Wilson 0 | Mallory Farmer had 18 service points and eight kills and Skyla Corey had 12 service points, five kills and one block as the Sharks shut out the Tigers (25-19, 25-10, 25-16).

Emma Reifler added six service points and four kills and Mary Hannah Wallace had seven service points for St. James (6-3, 2-0 Region VII-AAA).

▪ Carolina Forest 3, (at) Sumter 0 | Ellissa Small had 14 kills, Alexis Tomlin had 11 and Kenzlie Andresen added 10 as the Panthers improved to 10-0 with a win over the Gamecocks.
