“We were up at halftime and had a little life; we just didn’t have enough in the second half,” Carolina Forest coach Stacy Hughes said. “We had a bad third quarter and just couldn’t get it done.”
Alexis Tomlin had a double-double of 12 points and 14 rebounds, while Cheyenne Pyles and Ellen Nardella contributed nine points each for the Panthers.
