Myrtle Beach kicks off hoops season with community event

The Myrtle Beach athletic department is seeking to deliver more than the thrill of victory.

In an effort to bring awareness to an assortment of services and resources available locally, the School will host the second annual “Bring Light to the Myrtle Beach Community” event. Activities will take place in the Myrtle Beach High School lobby and gymnasium from 5-8 p.m.

On the docket for the event include a host of speakers and intra-squad scrimmages by both the Seahawks boys and girls hoops teams.

There is no cost of admission for the event, with the school providing free bottles of water and concessions to all who attend.
