Panther Invitational draws 25 high school teams to Hackler Course at CCU

Most of the boys high school golf teams on the Grand Strand, as well as several from the Charleston area are among 25 teams from 20 schools entered in the seventh annual Panther Invitational hosted by Carolina Forest High on Saturday at the General Hackler Course at Coastal Carolina.

The Panthers are being joined by area schools Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, St. James, Socastee, Conway, Georgetown, Aynor and Loris, as well as Charleston area schools West Ashley, Fort Dorchester, James Island, Summerville, Wando and Stratford.

Other participating teams are representing West Florence, Hartsville, Blythewood, Buford, Sumter and Hilton Head Island.

Tee times off the first and 10th tees run from 8 a.m. to 10:24 a.m.
