Slicer solutions: Body then club

Over the years of teaching, I have noticed that many golfers use the club in the backswing and then the body in the downswing. I have found that they use their body in the downswing in an attempt to hit it farther. What needs to swing fast is the clubhead. So once again it is the opposite. It is called a backswing as the back, chest and shoulders need to turn. In the downswing you need to use your hands to swing the clubhead at a high rate of speed. Make 100 swings a day where you turn your back, chest and shoulders and then swing the clubhead as fast as you can to your finish.
