These Myrtle Beach area golf courses are ranked among best in the country

The Grand Strand has some of the top-ranking courses in the U.S.

Four of those have made Golfweek’s Best 2026 rankings of the top 200 resort courses.

They are among more than 90 golf courses in the Myrtle Beach area, making the coastal locale one of the top golf destinations in the U.S..

Caledonia Golf & Fish Club in Pawleys Island ranked No. 61 on the list. The course opened to the public in January 1994 and has gained a reputation as one of the premier courses in the country, often appearing on golf lists as a must-play.

Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach comes in at No. 62. The private course at 9000 N. Ocean Blvd. has been the site for the PGA Tour’s ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic for the past three years.

The course, with oceanside dunes, was built in the 1940s.

True Blue in Pawleys Island comes in at No. 100. Grande Dunes Resort Club and Legends Golf Resort (Moorland), both in Myrtle Beach, are tied for No. 197.
