Aim and alignment

Aim and alignment are two totally separate things, with alignment being the more important of the two. Aim is where you are aimed at; alignment is how your feet, knees, hips, shoulders, arms and eyes are arranged and parallel to each in order to aim. Take your stance with an alignment rod on the ground. Get your feet parallel to the rod and have a friend hold a rod to see if your knees, hips, shoulders, arms and eyes are all parallel to your feet. Alignment issues effect elements from ball position to swing plane.
