Grip 103

Bring the club down where it is parallel to the ground. You should be able to feel the weight of the club in the back part of your hand. That is why you have to grip it firmly with the last three fingers of your left hand. Most golfers I work with don’t hold the club too tight; they hold it too tight with the wrongs things. Most hold it too tight with their thumb and forefinger. We pick up, fasten, button and put on most things with our thumb and forefinger.

In golf it is different. We want to hold on to the club with the last three fingers and the sensation of the heel pad pushing down.
