A lot of talk these days in golf instruction is about biomechanics. I mean, when have you ever heard a golfer talk about getting his “glutes activated?” There is some merit about how you attach yourself to the ground at address. After you get into a good posture you want to tighten the inside muscles of your legs. This will have your legs pushing into the ground. You are swinging the club at anywhere from 60 to over 100 mph. Your legs need to connect the ground to stabilize your swing.
