Byrd finishes tied for second in Florida Professional Tour event

Murrells Inlet’s Zack Byrd shot a final-round 68 to finish tied for second in the Florida Professional Tour’s Christmas Classic at Wekiva Golf Club.

Byrd finished at 137, two shots behind winner Conner Godsey of Rogersville, Ala., to earn $1,300.

Byrd had 10 birdies and three bogeys.
