The Coastal Carolina football program won’t be able to announce its full 2016 recruiting class until National Signing Day next month, but the Chanticleers were able to formalize two early additions on Thursday.
Darrell Malone Jr., a 5-foot-10, 165-pound cornerback from Weston, Fla., joins the Chants as a true freshman, having already graduated from Cypress Bay High School and enrolled at Coastal Carolina.
And Marcus Outlow, a 5-foot-10, 205-pound running back, arrives as a transfer after two seasons at Boston College.
Both players will be with the Chants for spring practice, although Outlow will have to sit out the 2016 season due to NCAA transfer rules.
