Coastal Carolina slugs way past Liberty

MyrtleBeach

Zach Remillard, G.K. Young, Billy Cook and Seth Lancaster each homered as the Coastal Carolina baseball team defeated Liberty 12-3 on Saturday.

Seven different batters drove in runs for the Chanticleers (33-14, 15-2 Big South), a day after eight did the same.

Coastal starter Andrew Beckwith made it stand up, allowing three runs (two earned) on eight hits while striking out seven in six innings. Zack Hopeck tossed three hitless innings to close it out.
