Coastal Carolina softball tops Connecticut

Morgan Noad hit a two-run home run in the first inning and the Coastal Carolina softball team held on to defeat Connecticut 4-2 on Tuesday.

Kailey Mellen and Angela Buccilli also drove in runs for the Chanticleers.

Dominick Kelsey (7-7) allowed two runs on eight hits while striking out three to earn the win on the mound for Coastal (12-13).
