Women’s basketball

(At) UNC Asheville 77, Coastal Carolina 69: Yasmin Miller had 21 points and Ced Gibson added 19, but it wasn’t enough as the Chants fell short against the Bulldogs.

Tianna Knuckles had a team-high 20 for UNC Asheville.

Indoor track and field

The Coastal Carolina women had three top-10s Saturday in the Buccaneer Invitational indoor track and field meet.

Aynslee van Graan took eighth place in the 800 meters (2:18.92), Lisha van Onselen was 10th in the same event (2:19.44) and Amirah Al-Bayyinah placed ninth in the long jump (18-1 1/2).

Women’s tennis

(At) Coastal Carolina 6, UNC Greensboro 1: The Chants cruised to a victory.
