Coastal Carolina women’s basketball opens season with rout of Mid-Atlantic Christian
Rachel Gregory had a team-high 19 points off the bench as six players scored in double figures in the Coastal Carolina women’s basketball team’s 105-15 season-opening win over Mid-Atlantic Christian on Friday at The HTC Center.
The Chanticleers missed a program record for most points scored in a game by six. Coastal Carolina 121 in a win over Barbara Scotia last season.
The 15 points allowed was a program low for the Chants.
Coastal finished with 25 steals and caused 43 turnovers.
Alexis Robinson (16 points), Yasmin Miller (14), Jas Adams (12), Nicole Isaacs (11) and Olivia Carlton (10) were the other Chants who scored in double figures.
