Men’s golf

The Coastal Carolina men’s golf team shot 19-over 307 to finish last in the 15-team Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate.

The Chants finished 78 strokes behind winner Penn State.

Coastal’s Alfredo Ruiz (71) tied for 24th (217), Harrison Frye (80) tied for 70th (231), Olle Widegren (78) finished 78th (236), Josh Pisarri (80) tied for 80th (240) and Daniel Overas (78) tied for 82nd (242).

Men’s soccer

(At) UNC Asheville 3, Coastal Carolina 2: Chuka Anyafo scored in the 83rd minute as the Bulldogs upset the fourth-ranked Chants.

Brendan O’Dowd and Andrew Lawrence also scored for UNC Asheville.

Louis Dargent and Bryce Follensbee scored for Coastal.
