Coastal Carolina roundup: Football remains No. 1 in poll, moves up to No. 2 in other
The Coastal Carolina football team remained No. 1 in the FCS Coaches poll and moved up to No. 2 in the STATS FCS media poll.
Jacksonville State, which nearly knocked off FBS power Auburn on Saturday, moved into the No. 1 spot in the STATS poll.

Coastal Carolina running back De’Angelo Henderson and punter Evan Rabon were named Big South offensive and special teams players of the week, respectively.
Henderson ran for 136 yards and a touchdown while becoming the Chants’ all-time leading rusher in a win over South Carolina State.
Rabon averaged 41.7 yards on his three punts, which all landed inside the 20 against the Bulldogs on Saturday.
Men’s soccer
Coastal Carolina’s Fenando Pina was named Big South Defensive Player of the Week.
Pina made 11 saves, earned a shutout and record a .917 save percentage in 200 minutes played in a pair of matches last week.
