Coastal Carolina volleyball wins Georgia Tech tournament

The Coastal Carolina volleyball team completed a sweep in the Atlanta Midtown Invitational on Saturday, winning its final two matches against Siena and The Citadel.

After beating Tennessee-Martin and Georgia Tech on Friday, the Chanticleers topped Siena (25-21, 25-20, 25-20) and The Citadel (25-19, 21-25, 25-12, 25-12).

In addition to winning the tournament, this year’s team was the first to start the season 4-0 since the 1996 squad did it.

Leah Hardeman led CCU offensively with 60 kills in the four-match tournament.
