Coastal Carolina’s football game against Jacksonville State resumes after weather delay

Coastal Carolina’s first home game of the 2023 season has been paused due to a weather delay.

CCU was up 7-6 with less than a minute left in the first quarter of the matchup against Jacksonville State University before the weather delay stopped the game. The game was paused at 7:36 p.m EST.

Coastal’s first game at home this season is also the first home game for new CCU head Coach Tim Beck.

The game restarted at 8:20 p.m. EST. The delay was 44 minutes long.
