Coastal Carolina women’s lacrosse earns several Big South honors
Coastal Carolina women’s lacrosse player Maddy Ciardi was named Big South Defensive Player of the Year as the league’s annual awards were handed out Monday.
Ciardi also made first-team all-conference and the all-academic team, one of seven Chanticleers to be honored.
CCU Attacker Keri White also made first-team all-conference. Midfielders Haley Kyger and Nyra Constant and attacker Jen Cosgrove earned second-team honors.
Coastal goalkeeper Jenna Stover and defender Karley Barreno were named to the honorable mention all-conference team.
The Chants open the Big South conference tournament Tuesday by hosting Campbell at 6 p.m. at CCU Soccer Field.
