CCU women’s golf team wins Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic by a stroke
The Coastal Carolina women’s golf team shot a 2-under 286 to hold on for a one-stroke victory in the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic.
The Chanticleers finished at 6-over 870, one stroke ahead of College of Charleston, which shot a final-round 9-under 279.
Coastal’s Malene Krolboll Hansen (72) tied for third (211), Stephanie Henning (71) tied for 17th (219), Barbora Bakova (68) tied for 24th (220), Victoria Parker (77) tied for 39th (224) and Marie Lunackova (75) tied for 120th (234).
