Men’s soccer

Coastal Carolina 2, Hartwick 0: At Atlanta, Frantzdy Pierrot scored a pair of first-half goals to lead the top-seeded Chanticleers to a victory in the semifinals of the Sun Belt tournament.

Pierrot’s scores came in the 37th and 44th minutes.

Coastal advances to take on third-seeded Georgia State in the conference title match at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Volleyball

(At) Coastal Carolina 3, Troy 0: Natasa Savovic had 11 kills and Leah Hardeman and Annayka Legros added nine each as the Chants pushed their winning streak to 13 matches.

Women’s basketball

(At) Clemson 64, Coastal Carolina 57: Jas Adams and Rachael Gregory scored 14 points each, but the Chants came up short in their season opener.

Jala Alexander had a game-high 15 for the Tigers.
