Coastal Carolina 2, Little Rock 0: At Foley, Ala., Kylie Bostick and Amber Adams scored second-half goals to lead the Chanticleers to a win and berth into the Sun Belt tournament championship match.
Bostick put Coastal ahead in the 50th minute and Adams pushed the lead to two goals when she found the back of the net in the 54th minute.
Voted second in the Sun Belt preseason rankings, the Chants will take on preseason No. 1, regular-season champion and top-seeded South Alabama in Sunday’s 2 p.m. finale.
The Jaguars defeated Appalachian State 6-0 in the other semifinal to reach their fourth straight tournament championship match.
Volleyball
(At) Coastal Carolina 3, Georgia Southern 0: Annayka Legros had 12 kills, Sara Boothe had 23 assists and Leah Hardeman had 17 digs to lead the Chants to a 25-22, 25-11, 25-8 win.
