Coastal Carolina women’s lacrosse releases 2017 schedule

The Coastal Carolina women’s lacrosse team announced its 2017 schedule Monday, with 17 total matches and nine of those at home at Brooks Stadium.

The Chanticleers will be making their debut in the Atlantic Sun Conference this season.

Coastal opens up by hosting Cincinnati on Feb. 24.

The Chants have contests against two NCAA tournament participants from a season ago in Atlantic Sun champ Old Dominion and Louisville.

“We are very excited to kick this season off with a bang,” coach Kristen Selvage said in a press release. “We have added incredibly competitive teams to prepare us for ASUN competition. We are fortunate to host nine home games and plan to hit the ground running from the very first game.”
