Women’s golf

The Coastal Carolina women’s golf team had to settle for a second-place finish in the Palmetto Intercollegiate after shooting 16-over 293 in the final round Tuesday.

The Chanticleers finished at 17-over 881, two strokes behind winner Campbell.

The Chants’ Malene Krolboll Hansen (71) finished as runner-up (213), Marie Lunackova (79) and Stephanie Henning (77) tied for 15th (222), Damla Bilgic (77) tied for 19th (224) and Barbora Bakova (79) tied for 59th (234).
