Conway’s Edwards, 2 other South Carolina early enrollees ranked in final ESPN300

South Carolina has three recruits ranked in the final Class of 2016 ESPN300, which was released Tuesday morning, and all three are already on campus.

Quarterback Brandon McIlwain of Pennsylvania is ranked No. 118, defensive lineman Keir Thomas from Miami is No. 192 and wide receiver Bryan Edwards of Conway sits at No. 253. All three players enrolled at USC earlier this month.

McIlwain is rated as the No. 7 dual-threat quarterback in the country and the No. 4 player from Pennsylvania. Thomas is viewed as the No. 26 defensive end and the 37th-best player from Florida, while Edwards is rated as the 43rd-best receiver and the No. 3 player in the state of South Carolina.

USC also has several targets remaining in the ESPN 300, including defensive tackle Stephon Taylor (226) of New Orleans; offensive lineman John Simpson (232) from Fort Dorchester; cornerback Kristian Fulton (27) of Louisiana; and wide receiver Sam Bruce (77) from Fort Lauderdale. Bruce is currently committed to Miami.
