Jon Hoke will be the new defensive backs coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to multiple reports.

Hoke served as co-defensive coordinator for South Carolina under Steve Spurrier during the 2015 season. He’s held the same role with Spurrier for two seasons at Florida.

He also coached defensive backs for the Houston Texans and then Chicago Bears from 2002-2014.

Among the other assistants under previous coach Steve Spurrier to find new landing spots:

▪  Former USC co-defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward is now defensive coordinator at Fresno State.

▪  Former USC special teams coordinator Joe Robinson has the same position at Texas Tech.

▪  Deke Adams is now the defensive line coach at East Carolina.
