TV channel, kickoff time set for South Carolina home game vs Charlotte
South Carolina football will continue a three-game home stretch next weekend with a matchup against Charlotte.
The Gamecocks play the 49ers at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 24 at Williams-Brice Stadium, the SEC announced Monday. The game will be televised on ESPNU.
This will be the first time the Gamecocks have ever played the 49ers.
South Carolina (1-1) just lost its most recent game to Arkansas on the road, while Charlotte (0-3) is coming off a loss in its game against Maryland.
The 49ers play at Georgia State this week, while the Gamecocks host No. 1 Georgia.
