Conway’s Edwards involved in mishap that digs early hole for USC against Clemson
The last thing South Carolina needed was to dig an early hole against Clemson on Saturday night.
Unfortunately for Gamecock fans, USC did just that as a Jake Bentley pass intended for Conway native Bryan Edwards was intercepted for a touchdown early in the first quarter, giving the Tigers and early 7-0 lead.
Bentley and Edwards appeared to have a miscommunication on the play, leading to an easy touchdown for Clemson’s Ryan Carter.
