The ACC has announced a kickoff time and TV channel for No. 4 Clemson’s home game against No. 18 Syracuse next Saturday.

The Tigers will kick off against the Orange at noon on Saturday, Oct. 22, the conference said Monday. ABC will broadcast the game from Memorial Stadium.

Clemson (6-0, 4-0 ACC) and Syracuse (5-0, 2-0) are the only remaining undefeated teams in the conference’s Atlantic Division as of Monday, positioning next Saturday as a key conference game for the Tigers.

Heading into this week’s game at Florida State, No. 4 Clemson has already beaten two other ranked Atlantic opponents head to head: No. 14 Wake Forest in Week 4 and No. 15 N.C. State in Week 5.

No. 18 Syracuse, which reached its highest AP ranking since 2018 this week, is the last remaining ranked team on Clemson’s schedule with six regular-season games down and six to go in 2022. The Orange host No. 15 N.C. State this week.

In last year’s divisional meeting, then-unranked Clemson escaped Syracuse with a 17-14 road win after Orange kicker Andre Szmyt missed a game-tying 48-yard field goal with 38 seconds left. The Tigers had led 17-7 early in the fourth quarter before Syracuse mounted a late comeback attempt.

Clemson leads the all-time series with Syracuse 8-2, with all but one of those games coming since the Orange moved from the Big East to the ACC in 2013. The Tigers have won four straight since Syracuse’s memorable upset win over then-No. 2 Clemson in 2017 and eight of nine since 2013.
