UNC opens ACC play at home against fellow Coastal Division foe Virginia Tech.

The Tar Heels (3-1) suffered their first defeat of the season last Saturday, dropping a 45-32 decision to Notre Dame. Virginia Tech (2-2, 1-0 ACC) suffered a 33-10 loss at home to West Virginia two nights earlier on Sept. 22.
