You’ve made it, and we thank you for sticking with is.

With Week 1 of the NFL season in the rear-view, we’ve officially rolled out our full slate of adjusted and expanded coverage. By now – we hope – you’ve likely adapted to our new publication schedules for late and live content. That goes for both online (immediately) and in print (adapted in a wraparound, in-depth format when possible).

As we do still plan to build and add to these packages moving forward, the accompanying list is what to expect for the remainder of the fall season.

As always we welcome suggestions for additions, changes, etc.

Of Note

▪ Two teams heading in different directions meet this week to battle for the Victory Bell. After another blowout win, this time over perrenial powerhouse Marlboro County, Conway rolls into this week at 4-1. Myrtle Beach (2-3) is coming off a surprising loss to Carolina Forest. That said, it’s worth keeping in mind that after losing to a maligned Panthers team in 2013, the Seahawks didn’t lose again en route to a Class AAA state title. At any rate, the Tigers and Seahawks meet up at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Conway High School.

▪ The PGA Tour’s best converge at the TOUR Championship, played at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. The action begins Thursday to decide the winner of the FedEx Cup and a $10 million bonus prize. 2015 major winners Jordan Spieth, Jason Day and Zach Johnson, along with Coastal Carolina alumnus Dustin Johnson, will highlight the 30-man field. The first round begins Thursday. Keep up with The Sun News golf writer Alan Blondin (@AlanBlondin), who will be reporting live from East Lake.
