Muscled athletes return to Myrtle Beach for chance to be crowned world’s strongest
After last year’s absence, Myrtle Beach residents and tourists once again will be able to see muscled athletes lifting small cars and throwing extremely heavy things as the World’s Strongest Man competition makes its return to the coastal city.
The competition will be along the oceanfront at Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place from April 23-26.
Athletes from all over the world will gather to compete in different events for a chance to be crowned the World’s Strongest Man.
“We’re thrilled to welcome the World’s Strongest Man competition back to downtown Myrtle Beach for another exciting showcase of live sports action,” said Stuart Butler, president of Visit Myrtle Beach, in a press release. “This world-class competition has exceeded our expectations each year we’ve hosted it, bringing in competitors and fans from across the globe and putting Myrtle Beach on the world stage. Our community has wholeheartedly embraced this event and we’re looking forward to the economic and recreational impact that it brings to our entire region.”
The competition moved to Sacramento, California, in 2025, after having been in Myrtle Beach for two straight years.
Ticket information, the competing athlete roster and event schedule will be announced at a later date.
