Warfare MMA to hold event at Palace Theatre on Oct. 24
Since its inception in 2011, Warfare MMA has been bringing quality fight cards to the beach and the mixed martial arts promotion is set to put on another action-packed event.
Wafare MMA will host Warfare 14 at The Palace Theatre at Broadway at the Beach on Oct. 24 and will feature the much anticipated professional debut of Myrtle Beach resident Cody Jones and the return of undefeated Conway native Marvin Skipper, who is 3-0 as a pro.
The event marks the return of Warfare MMA to The Palace Theatre since fulfilling a seven-show commitment with The House of Blues. Warfare put on two shows at The Palace in 2012.
“There was always this yearning to return to [The Palace Theatre], it’s a much larger venue and it’s more centrally located to everything and just all around super classy and a venue that our fighters and fans deserve,” Warfare CEO Andy Hall said in a press release. “Palace Theatre CEO Jaime Lodge and I have been meeting constantly all year to get a deal done and he’s just a great guy to deal with and they are extremely excited to have us return not only for Warfare 14 but for additional shows as well and we’re currently looking at those dates now so we can bring more continuity to our events.”
Tickets for Warfare 14 go on sale Sept. 1 and will be available at www.palacetheatremyrtlebeach.com or can be purchased at The Island Bar in Surside or The Waterway House Sports Bar in Myrtle Beach.
