Former WWE, WCW, ECW wrestlers to compete in Myrtle Beach on Saturday night
Wrestlers who have competed in World Wrestling Entertainment, World Championship Wrestling and Eastern Championship Wrestling will perform Saturday night at The X Gym Sports Mall.
Renee Michelle, who competed in the 2017 WWE Mae Young Classic, Papa Stro Maestro, best known as The Maestro in WCW, and “Dangerous” Doug Gilbert, who competed in many federations including the ECW, and “The Living Legacy” Tim Zbyszko, son of WWE Hall of Famer Larry Zbyszko, will join Tommy “Wildfire” Rich in the ’Twas the Fight Before Christmas wrestling event beginning at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the X Gym.
The show is being presented by Tommy Rich, a former National Wrestling Alliance world heavyweight champion who runs the Tommy Wildfire Rich School of Wrestling inside the sports mall. The show will feature a Toys for Tots event, and those who donate a toy will receive $2 off ringside (price $20) or general ($10) tickets. Children 12 and younger get in free.
There will be a meet and greet ahead of the show at 6 p.m., and the event will also feature an opportunity for photos with Santa.
There are seven matches on the card, highlighted by a triple main event featuring the following matches: Renee Michelle vs. Jesse Jordan; The Living Legacy Tim Zbyszko vs. Papa Stro Maestro; and “Dangerous” Doug Gilbert and Tommy “Wildfire” Rich vs. Deon Johnson and Zuka King.
