Grand Strand viewer’s guide for the sports week ahead (Dec. 5-Dec. 11, 2016)

▪ The Coastal Carolina men’s basketball hosts Piedmont International (7 p.m. Monday) and North Carolina Central (7 p.m. Saturday) this week.

▪ The CCU women’s basketball squad plays at Wofford at 6 p.m. Monday.

▪ The Touchstone Energy Cooperatives North-South Bowl, a high school football all-star game, will take place at noon Saturday at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium. Several area players are on the South roster.

▪ The South Carolina men’s basketball team plays at Seton Hall at 9 p.m. Monday and at South Florida at 1 p.m. Saturday.

▪ The Clemson men’s basketball team hosts South Carolina State at 7 p.m. Tuesday and plays at Alabama at 4 p.m. Sunday.

▪ The PGA Tour will hold its final tournament for the calendar year as the Franklin Templeton Shootout is played Thursday-Saturday in Naples, Fla.

▪ The Carolina Panthers host the San Diego Chargers at 1 p.m. Sunday.
