Teach kids to respect police while they are young

I am writing this letter in reference to all parents who may be concerned about their children who are 10 years of age or older.

Parents should instill in them when they get old enough to drive that if the police should pull them over, roll down the window on the driver’s side, put both hands on the steering wheel, let the police officer do the talking, don’t speak unless he asks you a question, and be courteous.

If you feel that the policeman is giving you a ticket that you do not deserve, do not argue with the officer; take him to court. This way, you can save a lot of lives, between the police officer and the rest of the population.

Please pass this information on to everyone you know who does not read The Sun News. Also, if someone has their own opinion about this matter, please respond to The Sun News and not to the writer.
