Want I-73? Easy. Just upgrade existing roads.
I read with interest the article about I-73. To build a road between I-95 and SC 22 is an interesting concept, considering that there is already a four-lane there, which could be upgraded.
Wouldn't it make more sense to make SC 9 a four-lane between Green Sea and I-95? That would give the traffic going into the north Strand a better way to go, alleviating traffic to the middle and south Strand, as well as another entrance to the middle and south if people chose SC 9 and SC 31.
