CCU players are great - but not heroes

I received my edition of The Sun News, saw the front page and was appalled to find the Coastal Carolina baseball team called heroes.

I think it was great for that team to win the College world series; I watched all the games. They are a fine ball club and should be recognized for their accomplishments.

But, heroes? No!

Heroes are the men and women that allowed them to compete and become champs. Our armed forces have heroes; ball players are stars.

So I ask you to give respect where it is due when calling someone a hero.
